The Asset Management > Protocols page allows you to manage your protocol assets. A  protocol asset  is a named collection of protocols that can be used as match criteria in your  security rules  to permit or deny traffic. Follow the procedures in this topic to view, add, or edit protocol assets. To view protocol assets Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click  Security  >  Asset Management  in the left navigation pane. The Asset Management page appears and displays a series of tiles.  Click the  Protocols  tile. The Protocols page appears and displays a list of your configured protocol assets. (Optional) Click the name of a protocol asset to view configuration details.  To add a protocol asset Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click  Security  >  Asset Management  in the left navigation pane. The Asset Management page appears and displays a series of tiles.  Click the  Protocols  tile. The Protocols page appears and displays a list of your configured protocol assets. Click the  Add  icon. The Add Protocols page appears.  In the Details pane, enter a name and, optionally, a description for the protocol asset. In the Protocol List pane, click  Add . The Add Protocols dialog appears. Enter one or more protocols that you want to add. Click  Add Selected . The Add Protocols page displays the selected protocols in the Protocol List table. Click  Submit . You are prompted to select one of the following submit options:  Activate Later  or  Activate Now . See  Activate configuration updates  for details. The Protocols page displays your new protocol asset in the list of configured protocol assets. To edit a protocol asset Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click  Security  >  Asset Management  in the left navigation pane. The Asset Management page appears and displays a series of tiles.  Click the  Protocols  tile. The Protocols page appears and displays a list of your configured protocol assets. Click the name of the protocol asset you want to edit. The < protocol asset name > page appears in read-only mode. Click the  Edit  icon. The page appears in edit mode. Note:  To edit assets that are owned by Aryaka (denoted with a gray Owned by Aryaka label) you must first click  Change Ownership , confirm the ownership change, and then click the  Edit  icon that appears.  Perform any of the following actions to edit the protocol asset: Change the name, description, or both in the Details pane. Add a new protocol in the Protocol List pane using the following procedure: Click  Add . The Add Protocols dialog appears. Enter one or more protocols that you want to add. Click  Add Selected . The < protocol asset name > page displays the selected protocols in the Protocol List table. (Optional) Delete a protocol from the Protocol List by clicking the  Delete  icon. Click  Submit . You are prompted to select one of the following submit options:  Activate Later  or  Activate Now . See  Activate configuration updates  for details. The Protocols page displays your updated protocol asset in the list of configured protocol assets. Related topics Asset management
