To display a network's Top Talkers page Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click SD-WAN > Monitor in the left navigation pane. The SD-WAN > Monitor page appears for the first site in your network alphabetically. Click the Reference Site drop-down list and select the site you want to monitor for network top talkers. Click the network you want to monitor in the WAN Traffic by Network graph. The Network: page appears. Click the Time field and select one of the following time periods for which to display the network's top talkers: Last Day Last Week Last Month Click Apply to load the data for the selected time period. Click the Top Talkers icon in the Quicklink toolbar at the bottom the page. The Top Talkers page appears for the selected site, network, and time period. It displays the network entities that are generating the most traffic in the following categories: Top Clients Top Servers Top Managed Applications Top Discovered Applications Top Unknown Applications Top Flows Each of these categories is described in a section that follows. Top Clients Displays the IP address and the amount of data used (in GBs) for the top 20 client computers for the selected site and time period. Top Servers Displays the IP address and the amount of data used (in GBs) for the top 20 server computers for the selected site and time period. Top Managed Applications Displays the application name and the amount of data used (in GBs) for the top 20 managed applications for the selected site and time period. Managed applications are user-defined applications created for the following purposes: To have a custom application identified using IP, port, or domain information. To give a discovered application a custom name. To group this application with others to increase visibility or to simplify management, for example, social media applications. Top Discovered Applications Displays the application name and the amount of data used (in GBs) for the top 20 discovered applications for the selected site and time period. Discovered applications are those that are identified by the reference site's ANAP. Applications that cannot be identified by the ANAP's application detection functionality are considered unknown applications and are listed in the Unknown Applications table (described in the next section) with the details that were detected. Top Unknown Applications Unknown applications are partially identified by the ANAP using their protocol type and their destination IP address and port. By default, the Unknown Applications table displays the top 10 applications sorted by the total bytes of usage for the selected site and time period. The Total Bytes column shows the sum of the values in the Bytes Received and Bytes Transmitted columns for each unknown application. Top Flows A flow is a series of communications between two network endpoints. The Top Flows table displays the top 10 pairs of endpoints identified by their source IP and port and destination IP and port. The flow endpoints are sorted by the total bytes of usage for the selected site and time period. The Total Bytes column shows the sum of the values in the Bytes Received and Bytes Transmitted columns for each unknown application.
