MyAryaka enables you to create and manage virtual machine (VM) profiles that are used as templates for creating virtual machines. A profile is considered a template because it is a reusable record of the resource‑specific settings—such as the amount of memory, number of CPUs, and disk capacity—required by a configured and deployed virtual machine. A VM profile must be associated with a VM image before being used to provision one or more ANAPs at sites on your Aryaka network. The VM Profiles page lists all existing profiles you have created in MyAryaka. The page enables you to view profile details including their resources, and the number of sites where they are deployed as virtual machines.  Use the procedures in this topic to view and add VM profiles. To view VM profiles Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click  SD-WAN  >  Settings  in the left navigation pane. The Settings page appears and displays a series of tiles. Click  VM Profiles  in the VM Configuration tile. The VM Profiles page appears and displays a table with the following details for each VM profile: Name—User-assigned name given to the profile when it was created. Vendor—Company that developed the associated virtual machine product. Currently, Palo Alto Networks is the only supported vendor. VM Model—Vendor-assigned model name or number used to uniquely identify the virtual machine product. Image—Typically the vendor-assigned file name (though it can be renamed) of the VM image associated with this profile. CPU—Number of processors available to the VM using this profile.  Memory—Number of gigabytes (GB) of memory available to the VM using this profile. Disk—Number of gigabytes (GB) of memory available to the VM using this profile. Sites—Number of sites associated with the profile.  To create a VM profile Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click  SD-WAN  >  Settings  in the left navigation pane. The Settings page appears and displays a series of tiles. Click  VM Profiles  in the VM Configuration tile. The VM Profiles page appears and displays a table of VM profiles. Click the  Add  icon. The Add VM Profile page appears. Enter a name, and optionally, a description for the profile in the corresponding fields. Select the VM's vendor from the  Vendor  drop-down list. Specify the VM image to include in the profile using one of the following Image field options: Click the  Image  drop-down list, then select an image file. The list contains the files you uploaded as described in the  Upload VM images  procedure in the  Virtual machine images  topic. Click  Add New  and upload an image file in the Add VM Image dialog that appears. Field descriptions are available in the  Upload VM images  procedure in the  Virtual machine images  topic.. Enter the image file name directly in the text box and upload the image file as described in the  Upload VM images from a flash drive  procedure in the  Virtual machine images  topic. This field is case sensitive and the file name and extension must match the image file you obtained from the vendor exactly. Note that no validation is performed on the file name when you create the profile—the validation is performed when you create a VM that uses this profile as described in  Create virtual machines . Confirm the Aryaka-defined settings in each of the following fields in the Resource Details pane (you can edit any of the fields if required): VM Model—Vendor-assigned model name or number used to identify the specific virtual machine product. CPU—Number of processors required by a VM that uses this profile.  Memory—Number of gigabytes (GB) of memory required by a VM that uses this profile. Disk—Number of gigabytes (GB) of disk space required by a VM that uses this profile. Click  Submit . You are prompted to select one of the following submit options: Activate Later or Activate Now.  Click  Activate Later . See  Activate configuration updates  for details. The profile is created and appears in the table on the VM Profiles page.
