The Usage Details page lists read-only details about the variable component of your IP App Domain invoice. If it is not already open, complete the following procedure to view the Usage Details page: To open the Usage Details page Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click the  Enterprise icon in the bottom left of the page, then click Plan & Billing . The Plan & Billing page appears. In the IP App Domains pane, click Usage Details . This Usage Details page appears. It contains the following main sections: Bill Overview Dedicated IPSet Fee Bandwidth Calculation Bandwidth Cost by Domain Bandwidth Cost by POP   These are described in the sections that follow. Bill Overview This table displays your total charge as a result of the variable component of the service. This is not the complete invoice for the month as there are components of your bill that are independent of the monthly usage. To view the complete invoice, contact your sales representative.  The variable or usage-based component of your invoice includes the following: Domain Fee—Charge for the number of paying domains you have in your account. Bandwidth Cost—Charge for the amount of bandwidth used on our Edge and Origin POPs. Dedicated IPSet Fee—Charge for the number of IP addresses used by your paying domains. Each of these rows is described in the remaining sections in this topic. Dedicated IPSet Fee This table describes how the Dedicated IPSet Fee row of the Bill Overview table is calculated. Each row lists the regions used by the various domains configured for your account. The count shows the number of IP addresses used by all the domains in the region. Cost per Edge is the price in US dollars ($) per IP address in the region as specified in your contract. The dollar cost for the region is the result of multiplying the Count value by the Cost per Edge ($). The sum of Cost in dollars for each row is the total Dedicated IPSet Fee. Bandwidth Calculation Your contract may specify that you are charged either for the Data Transferred (in GB) or by Rate of Data Transferred (in Mbps). Typically, you are charged differently for ORIGIN and EDGE traffic. So the usage for ORIGIN and EDGE type traffic is calculated separately. If you are charged based on Data Rate, Aryaka calculates the 95th percentile of the EDGE traffic usage for the time-range chosen. To derive EDGE usage, the 95th percentile is calculated for a domain by calculating the 95th percentile for each EDGE POP in each direction. For each direction (inbound and outbound), the 95th percentile values of all the POPs are added to determine the total utilization of that direction. The domain's utilization is the 95th percentile of a direction, whichever is larger. Similarly, the ORIGIN usage is calculated. If you are charged based on Data Transferred, the data transferred (in GB) for each direction (inbound and outbound) is added for all EDGE POPs and the EDGE usage is the larger of the inbound and outbound values. Similarly, the ORIGIN usage is calculated. Bandwidth Cost by Domain This table describes how the Bandwidth Cost row of the Bill Overview table came to be. An alternate view of this row is offered in the table named Bandwidth Cost by POP (see below). In this table, each of your Paying domains are listed along with the usage information on the EDGE and ORIGIN POPS for each domain. This helps you figure out how each domain contributed to the total Bandwidth Cost. For a domain of interest, select the domain in the filter at the top of the page and click apply. The page will reload to show the Bandwidth Cost of the domain by POP. See below on how to read that table. Bandwidth Cost by POP This table includes two views depending on the following filter setting: All Paying Domains—Displays the distribution of your ORIGIN and EDGE utilization for all  domains for each of the POPs. Any specific domain—Displays the distribution of that domain's ORIGIN and EDGE utilization on each of the POPs. The table displays the following for each POP: Edge Traffic—Either as Mbps or GB depending on your contract. Edge Cost—Dollars per GB or Mbps depending on your contract. Origin Traffic—Either as Mbps or GB depending on your contract. Origin Cost—Dollars per GB or Mbps depending on your contract. Cost (in dollars)—Calculated by multiplying Edge Traffic by the Edge Cost, then adding the result of multiplying the Origin Traffic by the Origin Cost. Expressed mathematically: (ET x EC) + (OT x OC) = Cost.  Related topics View IP App Domain contract details
