MyAryaka enables you to upload and manage virtual machine (VM) images that are used as templates for creating virtual machines. An image is considered a template because it does not include resource‑specific settings—such as the amount of memory, number of CPUs, disk capacity, and so on— required by a configured virtual machine. These resource‑specific details are provided by associating a VM profile with the image. The VM profiles are then used to provision one or more ANAPs at sites on your Aryaka network. The Add New VM Image page enables you to upload the image file and the MD5 checksum that you obtained from your virtual machine vendor to MyAryaka. When the uploaded VM image is associated with a VM profile, the resulting configuration can be propagated through the network and deployed to one or more sites' ANAP. The MD5 checksum is used to ensure data integrity of the image file when it is uploaded and when it is deployed to the ANAP. Use the procedures in this topic to view VM images, upload VM images, and upload VM images from a flash drive. To view VM images Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click SD-WAN > Settings  in the left navigation pane. The Settings page appears and displays a series of tiles. Click VM Images in the VM Configuration tile. The VM Images page appears and displays a table with the following details for each VM image: Vendor—Company that developed the associated virtual machine product. Currently Palo Alto Networks is the only supported vendor. Image Status—One of the following states of the image: Available, Stalled, Upload In Progress. Image Name—Name that you associated with the image when you uploaded it. Profiles—Number of user-defined VM profiles associated with the image.  Sites—Number of sites associated with the image.  To upload VM images Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click SD-WAN > Settings  in the left navigation pane. The Settings page appears and displays a series of tiles. Click VM Images in the VM Configuration tile. The VM Images page appears. It lists all existing images you have uploaded to MyAryaka.  Click the  Add  icon to upload a VM image. The Add New VM Image page appears. Select the vendor name from the Vendor drop-down list. Click Browse in the Image field, then navigate to the image file. Supported file formats are raw and qcow2. Enter the image file's checksum in the MD5 Checksum field. Click Submit  to begin the upload. The VM Images page appears. It displays the the status as Uploading in the Image Status column and the file name in the Image Name column. When the upload is successfully completed, the Image Status column displays the uploaded image's status as Available. If the browser or tab is refreshed or closed during the upload, the Image Status column displays the uploaded image's status as Stalled. You must repeat this procedure. Continue deploying your VM by completing the procedure described in  Create VM profiles . To upload VM images from a flash drive Upload virtual machine images from a portable USB flash drive directly onto your site's ANAP device. The VM image file is uploaded from a flash drive when the following conditions are satisfied: The USB flash drive is loaded with the image file and inserted in a site's ANAP device. The image file name in the flash drive matches the name specified in one of the following locations: Image field in an existing VM profile. This image name would have been entered when the profile was created as described in  Create VM profiles   and can be viewed as described in  View and manage VM profiles . Image field in an existing VM. This image name would have been entered when the VM was created as described in  Create virtual machines   and can be viewed as described in  View and manage virtual machines . Image field on the Add VM Profile or Add Virtual Machine page while creating a new VM profile or VM. The flash drive must use a FAT32 file system. The image file names must be an exact match—the case and file extensions are considered. Supported image file formats are raw and qcow2. In the case of an existing VM profile or VM, the upload begins shortly after you insert the flash drive into the ANAP's USB port. When creating a new VM profile or VM, the upload begins shortly after you click Submit on the Add VM Profile or Add Virtual Machine page with the flash drive inserted in the ANAP's USB port.
