The Alerts page allows you to view and manage the alerts you receive. Predefined and user-configured alerts are divided into the following three categories: Health—The functionality of the associated device or service. For example, if you set an alert for the health of an ANAP device, you can specify a site and interface (LAN, M1, and so on). Usage—The usage for a service, or if it has exceeded an associated threshold. Billing—Whether a service at a site is approaching or exceeding the contracted billing status. These alerts are independent from any service level agreement (SLA) that your organization has contracted with Aryaka. Aryaka Support will continue to respond as per the SLA regardless of whether there is an associated user-configured alert. If it is not already open, complete the following procedure to view the Alerts page: To open the Alerts page Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click the Notifications icon in the top icon pane. If you have active alerts, the icon also displays the alert count. The alert summary dialog appears. It displays the total number of active alerts for each severity level—critical, major, and minor. Do one of the following: Click the <number> active alerts link. The Alerts page appears with the Active tab displayed by default.  Click the Alert History link. The Alerts page appears with the History tab displayed by default. The Alerts page includes the following four tabs: Active—View and manage your active alerts. Snoozed—View alerts that are currently snoozed. History—View your alert history. Alert Analytics—View alert metrics for a given month.  Active alerts The Active tab of the Alerts page displays the total number of active alerts for each alert category—health, usage, and billing—and a table of alert details for all active alerts. The table includes the name of each alert you have configured and activated and displays additional details about the alert such as the site, device, or service for which the alert was raised, its status, severity, start time, and duration. You can perform the following operations from the Active tab of the Alerts page: Click an alert category tile to filter the table to include only alerts from the selected category. Clear one or more of the Severity checkboxes to remove the corresponding alert severity from the table. Click the Hide Acknowledged Alerts toggle to remove alerts marked with the Acknowledged icon in the Actions column. These are the alerts that you are already aware of and looking into. Hiding these alerts prevents other members of your organization from duplicating your efforts. Configure one or more of the table columns: Hover over a column heading. The column's Options icon appears. Click the Options icon. The selected column's settings dialog appears with the Options tab selected. Click Pin Column , then select one of the following pin options: Pin Left—Places the selected column to the far left of the table (it becomes the first column). Pin Right—Places the selected column to the far right of the table (it becomes the last column). No Pin—The selected column remains in its current position until displaced by a pinned column. Click the Filter icon. A checkbox appears for each entry in the selected column. Clear one or more checkboxes to remove the corresponding row from the table. Click the Columns icon. A checkbox appears for each column in the table. Clear any selected checkbox to hide the column, or click any cleared checkbox to display the column in the table. Click any column heading. The Sort Order icon appears and the column is sorted in ascending order. Click the column heading to change the column's sort order from ascending (arrow up) to descending (arrow down). Click the Acknowledge icon in the Actions column to mark an alert as acknowledged. If the Hide Acknowledged Alerts toggle is on, the alert is removed from the table immediately. If the Hide Acknowledged Alerts toggle is off, the alert is marked with the green Acknowledged icon. Click the Snooze icon in the Actions column, then select one of the following time periods during which additional alert notification emails will not be sent: One hour Four hours One day Note that snoozed alerts are no longer considered active alerts for the duration of the selected time period. For example, if the Alert icon is showing 12 active alerts, and you snooze one of them, the alert count changes to 11 when the screen automatically refreshes after a minute (or if you manually refresh your browser). After the selected time period expires, the alert is again considered active, and the count is incremented to 12. Click the name of an active alert to view alert details . You can perform the following additional operations from the Alert Details page: Click Comments to view or add a comment on the alert's details page. Click Debug to view or download a debug log or to debug the alert. Click the Expand icon in the Alert History pane. The details of each instance of this alert appear. Snoozed alerts You can choose to snooze —temporarily deactivate—an alert for one hour, four hours, or one day, after which the alert is considered active again. The Snoozed tab of the Alerts page displays a table of alert details for alerts that have been snoozed. See the previous section for detail on how to snooze an active alert.  Alert history The History tab of the Alerts page displays a table of alert details for alerts that have been resolved. Alerts are considered resolved when they cross the threshold in the opposite direction than originally caused the alert. Note that some Billing alerts are automatically resolved at the end of the day or month. You can perform the following operations from the History tab of the Alerts page: Filter the History table by selecting options from one or more of the following drop-down lists, then clicking Apply : Time Severity Category Locations Click the name of an alert to view alert details . You can perform the following operations from the Alert Details page: Click Comments to view or add a comment on the alert's details page. Click Debug to view or download a debug log or to debug the alert. Click the Expand icon in the Alert History pane. The details of each instance of this alert appear. Alert analytics The Alert Analytics tab of the Alerts page provides an overview of the alerts you received in a given month. You can quickly assess whether you received more or less alerts than the previous month, the most common alert categories and severity levels, and your interaction with your alerts. You can also examine the number of alerts and the amount of time alerts were active for each of your sites, and the most common types of alerts you received in a given month.  The Alert Analytics tab displays the following sections: A filter A row of analytics summary tiles Three analytics bubble graphs Filter The Filter allows you to select criteria to apply to the displayed alert analytics.
