The SD-WAN dashboard incorporates flow-based monitoring, which uses statistics from the flow logs for each site to produce graphs, statistics, and summary data. These flow logs are created and updated by each site's ANAP and by Aryaka POPs at regular intervals. This data is collected, parsed, and used to produce the graphs displayed throughout MyAryaka. This topic describes the statistics displayed on the Insights > Dashboards > SD-WAN page. What would you like to do? If you are trying to achieve the following goals, use the associated components of the SD-WAN dashboard: I want to troubleshoot network issues: Down Sites tile —View the number of sites that are currently down. Click this tile to view the  SD-WAN Status  page where you can identify which of your sites are currently experiencing an issue.  Down/Degraded ISPs tile —View the number of ISPs that are currently down or degraded. Click this tile to view the  SD-WAN Status  page where you can identify which of your sites are currently experiencing an issue.  Site Latency to POP graph —View sites that have a high latency to the POP. ISP Utilization table —Use the status indicator to identify any ISPs that are currently experiencing an issue. Ticketing tile —View the number of tickets you currently have open with Aryaka Support. If you have to appropriate permissions, click this tile to view the  ticketing portal .   I want to identify risks to my network: Site Latency to POP graph —View sites that have a high latency to the POP to identify sites at risk of a degraded user experience. Sites by SBW Utilization graph —Sites displayed in yellow or red indicate sites with high bandwidth utilization. You may need to consider increasing your subscribed bandwidth.  ISP Utilization table —View the bandwidth usage for the ISPs at each of your sites. I want to ensure that my services are properly implemented: Peak Usage Sites tile —View the number of sites where bandwidth usage exceeded a threshold of 90% of subscribed bandwidth. Top 20 Applications by Usage graph —View the applications that are using the most data. ISP by Utilization table —View bandwidth utilization according to site and ISP. Sites by SBW Utilization graph —View your sites that are using the most bandwidth. Sites map —View the geographical locations of your sites. Sites tile —View the number of sites in your network.  Private Access tile —View the number of Private Access users for your regions.  SD-WAN dashboard components  The following components are included on the SD-WAN dashboard: Summary tiles Site Latency to POP graph Top 20 Applications by Usage graph Sites by SBW Utilization graph Sites map ISP by Utilization table These components are described in the sections that follow. Summary tiles  The SD-WAN dashboard includes summary tiles that display current data for the following metrics. Sites—Number of sites that are currently connected to your Aryaka network. You may have additional sites that are not currently connected. Click this tile to display the  Sites  page. Down Sites—Number of sites that are connected to your Aryaka network, but have all of their VPN Path Aryaka edge tunnels down. For example, if a site has one tunnel configured and it is down, it is counted. If a site has two tunnels configured and one is down, it is not counted. Click this tile to display the  SD-WAN Status  page. Peak Usage Sites—Number of sites whose 99th percentile exceeded a threshold of 90% of their subscribed bandwidth. This statistic is calculated from the end of the previous month to the end of the previous day (GMT). Click this tile to display the  Reports > Site Reports  page, which includes the Site Utilization Insights table. Ticketing—This tile displays two statistics: the number of support tickets that you have open currently and the number of tickets resolved in the current month. Click the gray box below the ticket count to toggle between the two statistics. Click elsewhere in this tile to display the  ticketing portal . Private Access: Rest of the World—This tile displays the number of Private Access users for two regions: Mainland China and Rest of the World. Click the gray box below the user count to toggle between the two regions. Down/Degraded ISPs—Number of internet service providers whose M1/M2 interface is currently down or whose M1/M2 ITC health is bad. A combination is used for this count because ANAPs with only one interface have ITC disabled. Click this tile to display the  SD-WAN Status  page. Site Latency to POP graph This graph displays the latency of each of your sites to the POP. This allows you to understand the following: Site latency POP proximity Risk exposure Site latency Site latency is the time is takes traffic to go from your site to a POP. Site latency is divided into four bands and is given one of the following statuses: Site status Latency Excellent 0–25 ms Good 26–50 ms Poor 51–75 ms Bad >75 ms The graph also allows you to visualize how a site’s latency has changed over the last week. If a site has a dotted outline, the site’s latency is currently lower than the average over the last week. If a site has a red outline, the site’s latency is currently higher than the average over the last week.  POP proximity POP proximity measures how effectively Aryaka’s global POP footprint places your sites close to the Aryaka edge. This is calculated as follows: POP proximity  =  sum of site latency  /  number of valid sites Note that site latency is capped at 100ms. Site status Latency Excellent 0–25 ms Good 26–50 ms Poor 51–75 ms Bad >75 ms Risk exposure Your risk exposure is the proportion of your sites at risk of degraded user experience due to distance from the Aryaka edge. The following table shows the risk level that applies based on that percentage of sites that are experiencing high latency: Risk Level Sites Latency Low <5% >75 ms Moderate ≥5% and <7% >75 ms High ≥7% >75 ms Critical ≥10% >100 ms Graph components The Site Latency to POP graph uses colors and a sequence of rings to indicate your sites' latency. You can also view a histogram of the total number of sites for each latency band. Hover over the center Aryaka Core circle to view the following details: Connected Sites—Total number of sites you have currently connected. POP Proximity—Current POP Proximity score for all of your sites (Excellent, Good, Poor, or Bad). Risk Exposure—Current risk level for all of your sites (Low, Moderate, High, or Critical). Sites >75 ms—Number of sites (and percent of total sites) where latency is higher than 75 ms. Sites >100 ms—Number of sites (and percent of total sites) where latency is higher than 100 ms. Percentiles—Displays the 50th, 90th, 95th, and 99th percentiles of latency for your sites. POPs Used—Number of POPs used by all of your sites. Hover over a site to view the following details: Site Name—Name of the selected site. Site Latency—Current site latency status (Excellent, Good, Poor, or Bad). POP—Name of the POP that the site is connected to. Site Type—Type of site that is licensed (for example, global, regional, or IaaS). Location—The location the site is for (for example, on premises or virtual office). Country—Name of the country where the site is located. POP Proximity—Current POP Proximity score (Excellent, Good, Poor, or Bad). Current Latency—Measurement of the current latency for the site. Wk Avg Latency—Measurement of the average latency for the site over the last week.  Top 20 Applications by Usage graph  This treemap graph displays the top 20 applications with the highest usage in two hierarchical, color-coded views: All applications User-defined applications (defined on the  SD-WAN > Applications  page) Hover over any rectangle to display the application name and the measured usage (in GB or MB). Note that this treemap does not account for traffic between sites that do not have ANAPs and only accounts for partial traffic when one of the sites in a site pair does not have ANAP. Similarly, when calculating usage on the following hub flows, traffic data is counted at the site that initiates the flow, that is, the outgoing flow direction: Site to site to site Site to site to internet Internet to site to site Another network to site to another network Sites by SBW Utilization graph  This bubble graph displays the sites in a hierarchical, color-coded view based on VPN Path Aryaka's bandwidth utilization. The size of the bubble is proportional to the amount of the subscribed bandwidth (SBW) used and the color represents VPN Path Aryaka's utilization. The color is a linear gradient from green ( 0% utilization)  to red (100% utilization). Hover over a bubble to display the site name and percentage of SBW being used. Click the table icon in the view toggle to display the data as a table instead of a bubble graph.  You can filter the sites displayed in either view by clicking the drop-down list and selecting one of the following bandwidth usage ranges:  All (default)  70% + 50 to 69%  20 to 49% < 20% The percentage calculation is performed at the end of each GMT day, week, month, or quarter.  In either view, click a site name to display the  SD-WAN > Monitor > Site: <selectedSite>  page. Sites map  This world map displays the geographic location of each of your sites and the locations of the Aryaka point of presence (POP) to which they are connected. Note the following on the map: Site icons include a plus sign if there are multiple sites in an area too small to display them individually. Click the icon to show the individual sites. Hover over any site icon to display the site name and the POP to which it is connected. ISP by Utilization table  This table displays all of your sites and their ISP bandwidth utilization. Each site displays uplink and downlink utilization percentages for the primary ISP (ISP1) and, if appropriate, a secondary and tertiary ISP (ISP2 and ISP3). The usage information is represented as a color-coded circle and the number next to it shows the utilization percentage. The circle's color is a linear gradient from green (0% utilization) to red (100% utilization). You can filter the sites displayed in table by clicking the drop-down list and selecting one of the following usage ranges:  All (default)  70% and above 90% and above Click any row in the table to display the  SD-WAN > Monitor > Site: <selectedSite>  page and view the WAN Traffic by Provider graph.  In this topic Related topics Overview dashboard Security dashboard Access the Ticketing Portal View and manage alerts
