--- title: "Monitor VPN Path Aryaka Link Assure" canonical: "https://docs.aryaka.com/space/KNOW/1512282/Monitor%20VPN%20Path%20Aryaka%20Link%20Assure" format: markdown --- Link Assure is an optional network feature that helps steer VPN Path Aryaka traffic to a site's tunnels—the encrypted path between a site's ANAP and an Aryaka POP—based on the needs of the traffic. Link Assure policy allows traffic to be steered as follows: Traffic is replicated on both tunnels Traffic is load balanced on both tunnels Traffic prefers the primary tunnel Traffic prefers the secondary tunnel Traffic is restricted to the primary tunnel Traffic is restricted to the secondary tunnel You can monitor traffic on all these tunnels from the VPN Path Aryaka > Link Assure page. If it is not already open, open the VPN Path Aryaka > Link Assure page as follows: To open the VPN Path Aryaka > Link Assure page Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click SD-WAN > Monitor in the left navigation pane. The Site: page appears. Click the Reference Site drop-down list and select the site whose VPN Path Aryaka Link Assure traffic you want to monitor. Click VPN Path Aryaka in the WAN Traffic by Network panel. The Network: VPN Path Aryaka page appears. Click the Link Assure icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page. The Link Assure page appears for the selected site. The components of the Link Assure page are described in the following sections. Apply filters The filter pane contain the following components that allow you to select the criteria that determines the graph details that appear on the page. Component Description Traffic Direction field Select one of the following options to determine the direction of the traffic flow for the selected site: Inbound Only—Graphs traffic received at the site. Outbound Only—Graphs traffic leaving the site. Time field Determines the period for which to monitor and graph the traffic for the selected reference site. Each time period has an associated data interval defined for it. For example, if you select the Last 24 Hours time period, the associated data interval is 30 Minutes, which means a sample is taken and graphed every 30 minutes for a 24 hour period. Select one of the following time period/data interval pairs to graph the selected site's traffic: Last 1 Hour (1 minute) Last 4 Hours (1 minute) Last 8 Hours (1 minute) Last 24 Hours (1 minute) Last 7 Days (30 minutes) Last 30 days (30 minutes) Last Day (1 minute) Last Week (30 minutes) Last Month (30 minutes) Current Month (30 minutes) Custom (varies per custom time period defined) Note: Last Day is different from Last 24 Hours. The Last 24 Hours plots graph with traffic collected in the last 24 hours. Last Day plots the traffic during the last calendar day. Similarly, Last Month plots the traffic during the last calendar month, and so on. Current Month plots the traffic during the current calendar month. You can select a custom time, date, and year going as far back as five years. Apply button Saves and applies your filter selections to the page's graphs. Included graphs The following features are included on the Steered Traffic by Policy graph depending on the selected display option: Bubble graph Displays a colored circle for each of the following Link Assure policy types: Unsteered Preferred Path 1 Preferred Path 2 Load Balanced Path Replication Restricted to Path 1 Restricted to Path 2 You can click any policy circle to display the corresponding Policy Traffic page. They include a filter pane, display options, and graph elements previously described in this topic. Additionally, they include the graphs that are applicable for each policy: Path Traffic—Depending the selected traffic steering policy, this graph displays one, two, or four paths. Class Traffic—Steering feature that impacts several classes of traffic. This graph displays the distribution of QoS classes being steered by the selected steering type. Click the class to view the distribution of WAN and LAN traffic, and the traffic on each tunnel. Line graph Read-only graph that plots Link Assure traffic for the selected site and time period. You can hover over the graph to display the value of each statistic plotted at the corresponding time. There are no additional navigation links. You can display a custom time window: click, drag, and release to select a smaller window of time to display. This custom time selection now applies to all graphs on MyAryaka. After you select a custom time period, it is retained until you click the Reset icon above the graph. Table view Displays each network included in your Aryaka subscription in a table row and its corresponding traffic in the data column. You can click any network name to display the corresponding Policy Traffic page. They include a filter pane, display options, and graph elements previously described in this topic.
