The VPN Aryaka Remote Site Compression page is similar to the VPN Aryaka Compression page except the remote page monitors the compressed traffic traveling between two specific sites' ANAPs and the other monitors all compressed traffic traveling in and out of the ANAP to anywhere else in the network. Like the VPN Aryaka Compression page, the VPN Aryaka Remote Compression page contains two graphs that display compression statistics. In the case of the Remote Compression page, its graphs plot the compressed traffic and resulting benefits for  two  selected sites connected using the VPN Aryaka network.  If it is not already open, open the VPN Aryaka Remote Compression page as follows: To open the VPN Aryaka Remote Compression page Log in to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click  SD-WAN  >  Monitor  in the left navigation pane. The Site:  <siteName>  page appears. Click the  Reference   Site  drop-down list and select one of the two sites between which you want to monitor VPN Aryaka compression statistics. Click  VPN Aryaka  in the WAN Traffic by Network graph. The Network: VPN Path Aryaka page appears. Click  Load Data  in the Network Traffic by Remote Sites graph. The sites in your Aryaka network appear in a box graph. Click the box of the second of the two sites whose VPN Aryaka compression statistics you want to monitor. The Remote Site:  <siteName>  page appears. Click the  Compression  icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page. The Compression page appears for the selected site and selected remote site. The components of the Remote Site > Compression page are described in the following sections. Apply filters The filter pane contain the following components that allow you to select the criteria that determines the graph details that appear on the page. Component Description Traffic Direction field Select one of the following options to determine the direction of the traffic flow for the selected site: Inbound Only—Graphs traffic received at the site. Outbound Only—Graphs traffic leaving the site. Time field Determines the period for which to monitor and graph the traffic for the selected reference site. Each time period has an associated data interval defined for it. For example, if you select the Last 24 Hours time period, the associated data interval is 30 Minutes, which means a sample is taken and graphed every 30 minutes for a 24 hour period. Select one of the following time period/data interval pairs to graph the selected site's traffic: Last 1 Hour (1 minute) Last 4 Hours (1 minute) Last 8 Hours (1 minute) Last 24 Hours (1 minute) Last 7 Days (30 minutes) Last 30 days (30 minutes) Last Day (1 minute) Last Week (30 minutes) Last Month (30 minutes) Current Month (30 minutes) Custom (varies per custom time period defined) Note:  Last Day is different from Last 24 Hours. The Last 24 Hours plots graph with traffic collected in the last 24 hours. Last Day plots the traffic during the last calendar day. Similarly, Last Month plots the traffic during the last calendar month, and so on. Current Month plots the traffic during the current calendar month. You can select a custom time, date, and year going as far back as five years. Apply button Saves and applies your filter selections to the page's graphs.  Included graphs The following graphs appear on the VPN Aryaka Remote Site Compression page: Compression—Plots the following four statistics obtained as a result of Advanced Redundancy Removal (ARR) compression: Post Compressed Traffic—Denotes the traffic that was transformed by the ARR algorithm. Pre Compressed Traffic—Denotes the traffic that entered the acceleration engine and is passed as input to the ARR algorithm. Compression Benefits—Plots the benefits as a percentage for the applied compression to VPN Aryaka traffic for the selected site and time period. Bandwidth Saved—The difference between the accelerated LAN traffic and accelerated optimized traffic. It denotes the bandwidth saved by the compression and duplication-avoidance algorithms of ARR.
