Quality of service (QoS)  markings  are a tool for specifying that certain data packets are prioritized over other packets. For example, you can prioritize voice and video files higher than typical data files to help ensure that VOIP and video files are less likely to suffer from network traffic delays, interruptions, and so on. QoS markings are applied by all ANAPs and POPs in your Aryaka network as per the configuration defined on the QoS Markings page. You must have write privileges to edit or add markings.  To view, edit, add, or delete QoS markings Login to MyAryaka. The Home page appears. Click  SD-WAN  >  Quality of Service  in the left navigation pane. The Quality of Service page appears. Click  Manage  in the QoS Markings tile. The QoS Markings page appears and displays all existing markings. (Optional) Click the  Hide System Generated Markings  checkbox to remove the system-generated markings from the table. These markings are generated when an application-based configuration is performed on ANMC by Aryaka support personnel, but not supported by MyAryaka. They cannot be edited. Click the  Edit  icon. The Add   icon appears in the banner, and the fields in the QoS Markings table appear in edit mode. Edit any of the following fields as appropriate: Source Site—Select a site from the drop-down list. Traffic leaving the selected site is considered for marking. If you select a source site without specifying a destination site, all traffic leaving the selected source site is be marked. Destination Site—Select a site from the drop-down list. Traffic arriving at this site is considered for marking. If you select a destination site without specifying a source site, all traffic arriving at the selected destination site is be marked. Source CIDR—Enter a subnet source IP using CIDR notation (for example, 172.12.8.0/24). Destination CIDR—Enter a subnet destination IP using CIDR notation (for example, 172.15.8.0/24). Source Ports—Enter the source port using the following formats: Single port: 80 Multiple ports, comma separated: 80,443, Multiple ports in a range: 100-110 Destination Ports—Enter the destination port using the following formats: Single port: 80 Multiple ports, comma separated: 80,443, Multiple ports in a range: 100-110 Protocol—Enter the protocol number, for example, 6 (TCP) or 17 (UDP). ToS—Enter the ToS value with which to mark this packet. (Optional) Click the  Down-arrow  icon (in the Action column) and select  Move Up  or  Move Down  to reposition any row in the table, or  Delete  to remove the marking. The QoS markings listed in the table are processed in a top-down manner (that is, the top row is processed for a rule match before the second row, and so on until the last row of the table is reached). Traffic that matches a rule in a row nearer the top of the table gets the corresponding marking applied even if there is a more specific rule below it.  Click  Submit . You are prompted to activate your configuration now or later as described in  Activate configuration updates . The read-only view of the page appears with the Status field updated to Provisioning. After the QoS marking configuration is applied to the network by Aryaka support personnel, the Status field is updated to Configured.  Ensure you are in edit mode (step 5), then click the  Add  icon. A new row is added to the  top  the QoS Markings table. Complete the fields as described in step 5. (Optional) Click the  Down-arrow  icon (in the Action column) and select  Move Down  to reposition the new row lower in the table. The QoS markings listed in the table are processed in a top-down manner (that is, the top row is processed for a rule match before the second row, and so on until the last row of the table is reached). Traffic that matches a rule in a row nearer the top of the table gets the corresponding marking applied even if there is a more specific rule below it. Click  Submit . You are prompted to to activate your configuration now or later as described in  Activate configuration updates . The read-only view of the page appears with the Status field updated to Provisioning. After the QoS marking configuration is applied to the network by Aryaka support personnel, the Status field is updated to Configured.
