As a service provider, Aryaka offers optimized access to Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) by providing a low latency, redundant, and dedicated connection from Aryaka POPs using ECX Fabric. This allows customers to establish a highly available end-to-end path between the remote on-premise sites and Google Cloud Platform using Aryaka’s global, secured private network. Google Partner Interconnect powered by ECX Fabric is available from Aryaka for the following regions: Google Region Name Aryaka POP Location The Dalles, Oregon, USA (us-west1) • San Jose, CA • Dallas Ashburn, Northern Virginia, USA (us-east4) • Ashburn • New Jersey Council Bluffs, Iowa, USA (us-central1) • Dallas • Chicago Osasco (São Paulo), Brazil (southamerica-east1) Sao Paulo Eemshaven, Netherlands (europe-west4) Amsterdam Frankfurt (europe-west3) Frankfurt London, England, UK (europe-west2) London Tokyo, Japan (asia-northeast1) Tokyo Sydney (australia-southeast1) Sydney Contact Aryaka Support for possible connectivity with other Google regions. This document describes connecting Google VPCs in the listed regions with an Aryaka POP through ECX Fabric. Prerequisites Satisfy the following prerequisites before performing the Partner Interconnect configuration. You must be an administrator user on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) console. You must have created a project and a VPC to connect to Partner Interconnect. You must provide the following information to Aryaka Support after configuring Partner Interconnect in the GCP console: Geographic location of the VPC Instance Pairing key for both primary and secondary connections BGP ASN number (Google’s default is 16550) BGP IP addresses assigned by Google after Aryaka configures the virtual circuit While we have made every effort possible to ensure accurate descriptions and screen captures at time of publication, updates to the third-party UI are beyond our control. Refer to the third-party documentation to ensure you have the most recent information. Configure GCP Partner Interconnect Log in to the Google cloud at  https://console.cloud.google.com/ . In the left navigation pane, scroll to Networking then click  Hybrid Connectivity > Interconnect . Click Add Attachments . If this is the first interconnect in your project, click Get Started . The Add LAN Attachment screen appears: Select Partner Interconnect then click Continue . The Check Your Connection screen appears: Click  I Already Have a Service Provider . The Add VLAN Attachments screen appears: Click the  Create a redundant pair of VLAN attachments (recommended)  option (Aryaka supports redundancy to GCP), then complete the following fields: Network—Select the existing VPC network to be accessed over the Partner Interconnect. Region—Select the region where the VPC is deployed. Cloud Router—Select existing cloud routers that use Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) ASN 16550 for VLAN A and VLAN B or create a new unique cloud router for VLAN A and VLAN B as follows: Name—Provide a unique name for the cloud router. Description—Optional description of the cloud router, for example: Aryaka primary connection. Network, Region, and Google ASN—Use the automatically populated defaults. Advertised Routes—Click Advertise all subnets visible to the Cloud Router (Default) . Click Create to create the interconnect VLAN attachment. After the attachments are created, The Connect to Your VPC Networks screen appears. It displays the Primary Key table that lists each of your VLAN attachments and a unique pairing key in each row: Click the Enable checkbox in the Pre-activate These VLAN Attachments field. Copy the pairing keys for both primary and secondary connections to share with Aryaka Support. Click OK to create the connections. Navigate to the Interconnect dashboard, the newly created VLAN attachments appear with the status as Waiting for Service Provider: Email the VLAN attachment names and the corresponding pairing keys to Aryaka Support. After Aryaka configures the virtual cloud and establishes a connection, the Interconnect dashboard displays values in the Bandwidth and VLAN ID columns. Google then assigns BGP session IPs that appear in the Cloud Router IP and the On-Premises Router IP columns. The Status of the attachments at this point is Down . Email the Cloud Router IP and On-Premises Router IP for both attachments to Aryaka Support. After Aryaka configures the connection, the status appears as Up . Verify the end-to-end connectivity from your remote sites to the VPC instance, and from the VPC to your remote sites.
