Aryaka as a service provider offers optimized access to Alibaba virtual private cloud (VPC) by providing a low-latency, redundant, and dedicated virtual circuit from Aryaka POPs using ECX Fabric. This allows customers to establish a highly available end-to-end path between remote on-premise sites and Alibaba Cloud over Aryaka’s global secured private network.   Express Connect powered by ECX Fabric is available from Aryaka for the following regions:  Alibaba Region Aryaka POP Location US (Silicon Valley) San Jose US (Virginia) Ashburn Singapore Singapore China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong Contact Aryaka Support for Alibaba regions not listed to see if connectivity with Aryaka can be achieved.   This document describes the steps required to connect Alibaba VPCs in the supported regions with the Aryaka POP through ECX Fabric.  Prerequisites  Satisfy the following prerequisites before performing the configuration.  You must be an administrator user on the Alibaba Cloud console. You have already created a VPC and a cloud enterprise network (CEN) to connect to Express Connect. If not, do so as described in the following topics on alibabacloud.com :   Create a VPC   Create a CEN instance   Attach VPC to a CEN   You must provide the following information to Aryaka Support: Region of the VPC Instance Remote sites to be connected Agreed upon speed for Express Connect Alibaba Account ID The Aryaka provisioning team uses this information to create a virtual border router (VBR) for this circuit and provides the following information to you that is used to configure Express Connect as described in the next section:  APIPA IP /30 subnet to be used by Alibaba and Aryaka gateways (in step 4) Aryaka BGP ASN 11179 (in step 12) Configure Alibaba Express Connect  While we have made every effort possible to ensure accurate descriptions and screen captures at time of publication, updates to the third-party UI are beyond our control. Refer to the third-party documentation to ensure you have the most recent information. Log in to the Alibaba Cloud console and the select region where VPC is configured. at the top right, click the  Menu icon > Products and Services  > Express Connect . In the left navigation pane, click Virtual Border Router and review the new connection request from Aryaka. Click Confirm Creation . The following dialog appears: Enter the following information supplied by Aryaka Support in the corresponding field: IP address of the Alibaba gateway IP address of the Aryaka gateway Subnet Submit the VBR request. When enabled, the status changes to Active: Return to Alibaba Cloud console and click Cloud Enterprise Network .  Click the CEN instance attached to your VPC. The CEN Basic Settings page appears:  Click Attach Network . The Attach Network page appears: Attach the new VBR to the selected CEN as follows: Select Virtual Border Router (VBR) in the Network Type field. Select the where the VBR is configured in the Region field. Select Aryaka Created VBR in the Networks field. Return to the CEN details page, the Status column now displays Attached for the new VBR: Create a BGP Group and BGP Peer to establish BGP connectivity with Aryaka as follows: Click the newly-created VBR , and then click BGP Groups > Create BGP Group . The Crete BGP Peer page appears: Define the BGP Group as follows: Enter a suitable name in the Name field. Enter 11179 is the Peer ASN field.  (Optional) Enter a BGP key in the BGP Key field if required. Enter a description of this group in the BGP Group field. Click OK . Click the BGP Peers tab, then click Create BGP Peer . The Create BGP Peer page appears: Define the BGP Peer as follows: Select the group name from the drop-down list in the BGP Group field. Enter the Aryaka-provided IP address in the BGP Peer IP Address field. Click OK .
